This device is particularly useful with the cassette system where frequent connection or disconnection with the drive train system is required before removing the cassette for off-line roll change.

 An intermediate stand is installed in between the cardan shafts and the horizontal stands, linking the drivetrain with the machine stands with hydraulically actuated clutch coupling system, enabling quick disconnect/connect of the drivetrain with the forming and the sizing sections, allowing for fast cassette changeover without the need for hand tools or manual connections.

With this quick change system, the engagement and disengagement of the clutch via hydraulic coupling engagement / disengagement cylinder, bringing great convenience and reducing the roll change down time.
