End facing machine is a finishing equipment on the high frequency welding line, which is used for the automatic and continuous production of flat head and chamfer of steel pipe. It is suitable for pipe applications to meet any internationally known standards, including those of API and AWWA.
As the steel pipes enters into the separating device from conveyer, they are transferred by feeding device and positioned by blocking device. Then the pipes are laterally moved to cutterhead by stepping mechanism, and the cutterhead station automatically clamps, advances, retracts, loosens. As one pipe head flatted and chamferred, the stepping mechanism starts again, sends the processed steel pipes into another column of feeding device, completes the transportation of the steel pipe, and positions by the blocking device. Then, the stepping mechanism moves the steel pipes to the other side of the milling head processing center, repeating the last action. The steel pipes processed at both ends shall be sent to the unloading bench by the stepping mechanism. This repeated action is carried out continuously under the program control of the PLC machine.
We With a focus on both flexibility and design excellence, SRET provides custom-made end facing machines for each customer’s requirements, to accommodate varying lengths, thickness and diameter ranges with various models available.
