The cut-to-length line is designed for sheet metal production by leveling and cutting a mother coil into cross sections, creating completely flat formats that are properly stacked. The machine’s main components include uncoiler, leveler, feeder, shear, and stacker. Together, these elements work seamlessly to convert coils into flat sheets that meet precise length specifications. Our cut to length line is suitable for hot rolling carbon steel, cold rolling carbon steel, tin plate coils, stainless steel coils and other kind of metals with coated surface.
The process is consists of coil supplying,cutting, stacking, packing and releasing. At the beginning, the coil is placed on the uncoiler, where it is gradually unwound as it moves through the production line. As the strip passes through the pre – leveling and precisive leveling machine, removing any curvature or imperfections, the flattened sheet is fed forward to the shear unit.
Under the guide of pinching device, the strip runs through measuring rolls where the strip length is accurately measured, and then shearing is carried out and the sheet is cut to the desired length according to preset measurements.
After cutting, the sheets are neatly stacked and ready for further processing or transport.
